Welcome to Belarus Federation of Professional Boxing

Republican Public Association "Belarusian Federation of Professional Boxing» (RPA BFPB), established on the 14th of January in 1993, is the main public organization uniting and coordinating professional boxing.

Leading experts in the boxing field: boxers, trainers, managers, officials are members of RPA BFPB, support its actions and actively participate in RPA BFPB activity.

In June, 2007, the European Boxing Union (EBU), considering the opinion of Ministry of sports and tourism of Belarus, has given RPA BFPB the exclusive right to represent the Republic of Belarus in Europe, in the end of 2007 us have accepted in the World Boxing Association (WBA).

RPA BFPB closely cooperates with boxing organizations of different countries of the World. In October 2007 under invitation RPA BFPB, EBU Council Meeting in Minsk has passed, on which, with active participation of the Belarusian part, representatives of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Holland, Spain and of some other countries, led by the President Bob Logist, have discussed questions of the further development of professional boxing.

Title and rating boxing fights are regularly held under the jurisdiction of RPA BFPB.

On April 28 and October 16, 2007 for the first time in the history of Belarus, the Europe title fights has been held in Minsk Palace of Sports, where Belarusian boxer Yuri Romanov has successfully defended the title of the strongest in Europe.

On December, 22nd, 2007 in Milan, Belarusian boxer Sergey Gulyakevich has became the Champion of Europe, confidently having won the Spanish boxer-pro Leva Kirakosyan.

Magamed Aripgadzhiev (the Silver prize-winner of Olympic Games in Athens), after a confident victory over the Russian pro Artem Vichkin, has won a CIS and Slovenian countries title.

The result of work of our organization is the appearance in our country lots of perspective boxers such as: Andrei Abramenko from Grodno, Dmitry Tarenko from Mogilev, Andrei Salahudinov and Evgeni Kruglik from Minsk and many other fighters. The female boxing starts to develop successfully in the country.

RPA BFPB closely cooperates with National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus and with Amateur Boxing Federation, and also helps amateur boxers, who can try their strength on a professional ring.
